50 Cent Thinks Spotify Is “Wrong” for Removing R. Kelly’s Songs from Playlists.
“There [sic] not even convicted of any thing,” the rapper reasons. That’s the whole point, 50.
Of course, R. Kelly took to Instagram to thank 50 for his “support.” Meanwhile, a rep for XXXTentacion has responded to a request for comment from The New York Times by asking if the streaming service would be removing the music of artists like Ozzy Osbourne, Dr. Dre, and others.

A NYC Deli Car Crash Injured Several on Thursday.
At least six people were injured when a driver slammed into a Chelsea deli at 25 to 30 mph on Thursday evening, NBC reports.
“Among the five pedestrians injured were a 56-year-old mother and her 13-year-old son; a 62-year-old man; and a 41-year-old man,” the news outlet writes. “The 28-year-old livery cab driver was also injured.”

Donald Glover Says Stevie Wonder Watches Atlanta. Read That Sentence Again.
On his latest Jimmy Kimmel appearance, Glover recounts the time he reached out to Stevie for permission to use his music in his critically-acclaimed FX show.
“I used his songs in Atlanta and you have to ask special permission,” he shared. “I called him, I got his number. So we’re texting, [which is] already crazy. I’m like, ‘Hey Stevie I want to use your song.’ He’s then like, ‘Well send it over, let me read it. It gets turned into Braille, gets sent to him, he reads it and then we don’t hear anything.”
Glover reaches out again to let Stevie know that he had received a first cut of an episode using his music and wanted to see what he thought about it. That’s when Stevie texted him back and told him, “Man, I love it.”
“All the time I’m like, ‘How’d he do that?’ Like, touching the TV screen like, ‘This is funny?'” Glover said.

An Ebola Outbreak Has Been Declared in the Congo.
CNN reports 11 new cases of Ebola hemorrhagic fever in the Democratic Republic of Congo, including one death. While two cases are confirmed to be Ebola, lab results for the other nine are still pending.
“The World Health Organization reported Thursday that 27 total cases of fever with hemorrhagic symptoms were recorded in the Bikoro region between April 4 and May 5, including 17 deaths,” CNN adds. “Of these total cases, two tested positive for Ebola virus disease, according to the WHO.”
