Steve Lacy, wonder boy producer, guitarist and vocalist for The Internet, teamed up with streetwear brand BornxRaised on a spring/summer lookbook that’s all things Cali cool. The 19-year-old artist is part of a new wave of multi-hyphenate creatives making their mark in various mediums.
Taking on the role as BornxRaised’s newest model, the artist returned to his Compton roots to create the visuals for the brand’s warm-weather drop. Rocking laid-back fits like printed button-ups and matching shorts, the line also features sportswear staples like denim jackets, embroidered sweats and graphic tees.
Lensman Alan Lear produced the selection of 35 mm and digital photos shot in various locations throughout Lacy’s hometown. The items are available now at BornxRaised’s webshop, along with retailers Kith, Union LA and Selfridges. Check out the gallery below for a closer look.
