Offset Buys Car For Man That Saved His Life
Offset is paying it forward. Weeks ago Offset totaled his Dodge Challenger after swerving to avoid a “crackhead” in the road and a good Samaritan, named Jamar, helped him out.
“God do unexplainable things,” Cardi B tweeted the time. “Luckily a man was walking by, walked him home and just vanished. The Lord is real.”
Now, to repay Jamar, Offset bought him a new car, because according to Vibe the man did not previously own a car. Offset took to Twitter to thank Jamar.
Family Of G League Player Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit
Back in March, G League basketball player Zeke Upshaw died after collapsing on the court during a game. And now, his mother has decided to sue the NBA and the Detroit Pistons for negligence. The lawsuit was filed today in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the arena was named as a defendant as well. The lawsuit alleges that the medical personnel at the game failed to attempt life-saving measures in a timely fashion.
“Remarkably, for much longer than four full minutes, no cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was initiated, no chest compressions were started, no oxygen mask was placed on his nose and mouth, no airway was cleared and secured…” the suit says.
Student Wears Trans Flag for Betsy DeVos Visit
When Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos came to visit Grand Rapids Public Museum School in Michigan, there was one student that wanted to stand out at all costs.
Torin Hodgman, a genderqueer eighth-grader wore a transgender pride flag in order to make a statement for DeVos to push policies that make school safer for transgender students.
“Public schools are a place for all children,” Hodgman said.
Maroon 5 Announces a New Single With Cardi B
