The Reviews for Ocean’s 8 Are In.
The verdict? Seems like a pretty good movie. While some have called it more of a “knock-off” than a “spin-off,” the general consensus is that the Ocean’s 8 is worth the time and money for the cast alone. Catch the film when it hits theaters this Friday, June 8.
Here’s the Album Art for Ye and Cudi’s Kids See Ghosts.
Kanye West and Kid Cudi have unveiled the cover art for their awaited tag-team effort, Kids See Ghosts. According to Cudi, the artwork was designed by Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami. The artist coined the term “superflat” to describe the aesthetic characteristics of the Japanese artistic tradition that’s used in Murakami’s influential style. We’re digging the cover, and with ye being the downer it is, we’re hoping this joint album is what saves the day.
The Miami New Times Profiled XXXTentacion’s Alleged Victim.
In “The Real Story of Rapper XXXTentacion,” New Times writer Tarpley Hitt speaks to multiple people close to the problematic rapper (whose real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), including Geneva Ayala, who accused him of volatile domestic abuse.
According to Hitt, what began as a social media connection spiraled into a series of horrific physical events over the course of months. “Onfroy’s triggers were, in some ways, predictable — usually jealousy — but also erratic,” Hitt writes. “Small things could set him off: like her humming another rapper’s verse or asking a friend what music he was playing.”
Read Ayala’s account, as well as a disturbingly revealing interview with the rapper himself, here.
A Standalone Joker Movie Starring Jared Leto Is in the Works.
Warner Bros. wants to delve deeper into the story of Jared Leto’s Joker, but considering the lackluster reviews for 2016’s Suicide Squad, will folks even bother watching? (Probably.)
According to Variety, Leto will executive produce and star in the movie. “It’s currently unknown when this film would go into production, as Leto and the studio will now search for a writer,” Variety adds. “It’s also unclear if this film would shoot before or after the previously announced sequel to Suicide Squad.”
That sequel is reportedly in talks to go into production in 2019.

They ask that you make dua for Jalal especially during these last 10 days of Ramadan. Thank you.”
Watch April Ryan Grill Press Sec. Sanders.
During Tuesday’s White House briefing, April Ryan asked the question we probably all want to know regarding Trump’s stance on the national anthem protests:
“Is the president aware that this is about police-involved shootings, and not about disrespecting the flag?”
Did Sanders give a straight answer? Of course not. But we’re glad Ryan asked the question anyway because someone had to.
