Nas Responds to Abuse Allegations in to Kelis.

Nas has written an open letter to Kelis, in which he addresses abuse allegations the singer made against him in April.

“Today i got a call from essence about my ex wife doing another sad fictitious story,” he wrote in part one of his statement, which was shared on Instagram. “This is what your life has come to sis? Exploiting some people’s Real struggle and pain…just to get at me….to get attention? Fame? Another fight against men? We are a human family and we should be better examples for our son.”

Later, he alleged that Kelis physically attacked him in front of their son earlier this year.

Forensic Linguists Say Time Will Reveal the Myterious White House Op-Ed Author.

“We take the questioned document and compare it to known exemplars,” Robert Leonard, a Hofstra University linguist, told The Washington Post shortly after the piece was published. But the editing process the piece most likely went through before being published could make things a bit tricky.

“It’s like mixing fingerprints or DNA,” Leonard added. “You don’t always know who the real author is.”

DeRay Mckesson Finally Explains His Blue Vest.

We won’t mention names, but one of CASSIUS’ editors once saw DeRay wearing his blue vest on one of the hottest days of NYC summer and—needless to say—they were quite perplexed. If you, too, have always wondered why the activist can’t seem to part with Patagonia, wonder no more. He’s finally broken it down for us.

“I still wear it because it reminds me that all of the things that we went through were real,” he recently shared on BuzzFeed’s AM2DM. “I’ve had this vest on when I was tear-gassed, when I was dragged out of the police department by my ankles, when I was shot at with bullets … This is my grounding piece. I have been in so many places that I could forget about what happened, and I never want to forget how fragile freedom is and was in those moments.”
