Nike Releases New Colin Kaepernick Gear

Social media went wild when Nike demonstrated their support for Kaep by including him in their 30th anniversary “Just Do It” campaign. But now the brand is going to the next level by dropping some official Colin Kaepernick gear.

A black long sleeve T-shirt dropped on Nike’s website with details like his last name written across the back like a jersey, a swoosh on the left arm, “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything,” in small font on the sleeve, and a tag with a series of special logos placed near the bottom hem all printed in a reflective 3M material. The shirt was seen being worn by LeBron James.

Michael Jordan Invests in E-Sports Startup

On Thursday, the basketball legend was announced as a new investor in aXiomatic, a big-time eSports ownership group and parent company to Team Liquid. Jordan is already quite familiar with some of the aXiomatic board members, which include Capitals and Wizards owner Ted Leonsis and Peter Gruber.

Details of the investment amount were made confidential.

Maxine Waters Responds to Being Targeted By Bomb Threats

Several democrat leaders and supporters had suspicious packaging sent to their offices on Wednesday. But in an exclusive interview with Blavity, Maxine Waters came through with an important message: “I ain’t scared.”

“I think the president of United States should take responsibility for the kind of violence that we are seeing for the first time in different ways,” Waters told Blavity. “I think the president of the United States has been dog-whistling to his constituency, making them believe that their problems are caused by those people over there. And I think they are acting in a way that they think the president wants them to do and the way he wants them to act.”
