The Grammy Nominations Announcement Has a New Date.
ICYMI, the announcement for the 61st Grammy Award nominations was pushed back due to former President George H.W. Bush’s memorial service. You can now catch them on Friday, Dec. 7.
“Select categories will be announced live on ‘CBS This Morning’ and on Apple Music at 8:30 a.m. ET,” Variety reports. “Shortly aftward [sic], at 8:45 a.m. ET, the Recording Academy™ will announce nominations across all 84 categories.”
Set a reminder on your phone or something.
If You Need a Laugh, These Tumblr Adult Content Ban Memes Should Do It.
The social media world is in shambles after Tumblr announced that it will ban all adult content from its platform on Dec. 17. Per Tumblr’s help center page, “photos, videos, or GIFs that show real-life human genitals or female-presenting nipples, and any content—including photos, videos, GIFs and illustrations—that depicts sex acts” will be prohibited.
Permitted adult content includes written erotica, art-related nudity, or content connected to “political and newsworthy speech.” “Female-presenting nipples” in the context of birth and breastfeeding will also still be allowed.
Note: the decision comes after complaints of child pornography being circulated throughout the site.
