Kanye West Is Constructing ‘Star Wars’-Themed Low Income Housing Units.

Forbes reports that Kanye West’s latest creative endeavor involves creating Star Wars-themed low income housing units. Specifically, the houses will be inspired by the architecture of those depicted in Tatooine, which — for the uninitiated — is a fictional city within Star Wars.

“‘Ye plans to market the structures as low-income housing along with other homes that are shaped like spaceships,” XXL explains. “Some may think that his concepts are farfetched but it’s not the first outlandish idea he’s had. After the California wildfires destroyed multiple communities last year, West claimed that he wanted to build a fireproof community.”

Kelly Oubre Jr. and the Suns Have Agreed to  2-Year, $30 Million Contract.

Kelly Oubre Jr. wil be re-signing with the Phoenix Suns on a two-year, $30 million contract, says Bleacher Report. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, “Oubre Jr. gets financial security now with an opportunity to return to the marketplace as a 25-year-old unrestricted free agent in 2021.”

Temple University Researchers Have Eliminated HIV from Living Animals.

The research team at Temple University’s School of Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center have reportedly eliminated the DNA of HIV-1, the virus responsible for AIDS, from the genomes of living animals for the very first time.

“The technique involves 2 new technologies: gene editing known as CRISPR and a therapy known as LASER ART, or long-acting slow-effective release anti-retroviral therapy,” says ABC affiliate WPVI. “The Temple scientists have previously used CRISPR-Cas9 to remove HIV DNA from genomes containing the virus.”
