The incident occurred back in April after a sporting event hosted by streamer Adin Ross, with social media videos showing Brown getting hemmed up against a wall. Some men begin swinging on him, and he manages to scramble away before falling to the ground.
The disruption didn’t end there as another video shows Brown with what appears to be a gun in his hand running away from a camera. Seconds later, gunshots are heard in that general vicinity.
Miami police in the area responded to reports of gunshots, and photos from the night show AB being placed in handcuffs. He’d later be released from custody and dropped a statement the following morning claiming it was an attempted robbery and he wasn’t technically arrested.
“I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me,” he wrote on X. “Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED. I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me.”
In a turn of events, now he’s being charged because the warrant says the video shows Brown punching another person, which initiated the fight. The victim reportedly went to the police five days after the incident to say that Brown fired two shots at him, and they fought over the gun before Brown eventually walked away.
