The official trailer for Issa Rae’s Insecure has dropped and July 23 cannot come fast enough.
Season 2 of HBO’s surprise (to everyone who doesn’t know Black folks) hit will find Issa contemplating the future of her relationship with newly-minted ex-boyfriend Lawrence (Jay Ellis.) The leading lady also takes time to explore the single scene: “I’ve always wanted to have a hoe phase,” she confides to Molly (Yvonne Orgy), who is left in a complicated position after discovering that she’s paid less than one of her white male counterparts.
