Sean Spicer, the oft-mocked White House press secretary, resigned on Friday morning.
Spicer reportedly stepped down immediately after telling President Trump that he “vehemently disagreed with the appointment” of Anthony Scaramucci as communications director. According to the NY Times, Trump asked him to stay on, but the 45-year-old former RNC communications director declined.
