It’s officially 2018, fam, and you can bet the New Year will have us putting our collective money where our mouths are. Two major planets demand this:
First up is Saturn—ruling duty, maturity, restriction and responsibility—who moves into his home sign Capricorn for the first time since ’88. He wants to know what’s been up since the last time he came through (more Trickle Down Reaganomics, anyone?). Have we gotten our ish together since the last time he came to kick it and are we really ready to build something new? Only time will tell.
Uranus checks into Taurus from May ’til November giving all Bulls a kick in the you-know-what to freshen up and/or radicalize our value systems. The last time Uranus entered Taurus was in 1935 (just around the time the Nazis began to amass power in Germany!), so there may be some old stories to revisit in 2018, and we’re talking on a global scale. Y’all ready?
On the personal front, each of the 12 signs will be tasked with transitioning from the lofty ideas we’ve been grappling with and applying them in practical ways. Shout out to Capricorn and Taurus bringing folks back down to earth. Finally, the eclipses in Leo-Aquarius and Cancer-Capricorn will also play a huge role in shaping personal environments.
