LaVar Ball, one of the most polarizing figures in sports in 2017, even though he doesn’t even touch a ball, just received the gift of a lifetime.

In his first Christmas as a Los Angeles Laker with deep pockets, Lonzo Ball surprised his father with a Rolls Royce for Christmas. The NBA rookie posted a clip on his Instagram of his dad Lavar and his mother Tina sitting in their new car. As the convertible top is seen retracting, LaVar’s infamous smile immediately flashes across his face as he gives the droptop a quick drive around the parking lot.

Lonzo may only be a rookie in the league but hie will reportedly make an estimated  $33.4 million over the course of four years. The Lakers have made it apparent that they hope Ball will be an integral part to the future of the franchise even as other fresh faces like Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram continue to push the team to be it’s very best.

Back in July, Magic Johnson, the Lakers President of basketball operations said Ball is the “new face of the Lakers.” And with Ball’s stalwart  family and deep California ties, a trade seems unlikely at this point.

The Rolls Royce isn’t the first luxury car in the Ball family, just ask LaMelo, the 16-year-old brother who got a Lamborghini for his birthday. The black Lambo was spotted in the video he did for Slam Magazine because he’s the first high schooler to ever have his own signature sneaker. He’s since been pulled out of High School, along with his brother LiAngelo leaving UCLA in favor of joining a Latvian league. LaVar’s plan is to get them both in shape for the NBA—more specifically the Lakers. If LaVar gets his wish, the Ball’s fleet of luxury cars won’t end there.
