A plexiglass sneaker case. A black on black b-ball hoop. And…an IKEA skateboard? Yep, you read that correctly. The home goods heaven dropped a limited-edition collection for urban enthusiasts. Titled SPÄNST, the lineup was helmed by designer Chris Stamp, the L.A.-based Founder and Creative Director of cult sportswear label Stampd. Bridging the gap between your home and the streets, the pieces were inspired by the active lifestyles of today’s youth.

Here in So Cal, skating is more than transportation. It’s a culture and an intimate part of the Stampd DNA.

And in the braggadocious spirit of hip-hop culture, these storage solutions were meant to put your ish on display. So show off your collection of J’s or that dope Fear of God jacket with the same amount of artistry and pride within the four walls of your crib, as you do outside of them. “I grew up surfing and skating,” Stamp says. “Here in So Cal, skating is more than transportation. It’s a culture and an intimate part of the Stampd DNA. I’m honored to get the opportunity to design the first skateboard ever at IKEA.”

The sleek black and white skateboard and mesh wardrobe are just a few of our favorites. Fusing smart materials, monochrome colors and graphic elements, the stylish buys will upgrade any urban nest with ease. Priced between $6.99 for a cotton baseball cap and $249 for a multipurpose tabletop, cop IKEA’s limited-edition SPÄNST collection now at ikea.com. Take a closer look below.
