Avengers: Endgame Is the Highest-Grossing Film of the Year.

Marvel’s latest hit brought in $1.2+ billion at the worldwide box office during its opening weekend, already becoming the highest-grossing film of the year. As Forbes notes, that’s an all-time opening record.

“Also setting a new record is Endgame’s $350 million domestic bow. That figure could climb higher if Sunday’s actual receipts wind up ahead of expectations like everything else about Endgame’s historic debut,” Forbes adds.

“The $1.2 billion opening also makes Avengers: Endgame the 17th- or 18th-highest grossing movie in cinema history, depending on what the final global Sunday box office turns out to be. Currently, the film is expected to finish the weekend with nearly $1.210 billion, or roughly $4+ million behind Iron Man 3, which sits in the #17 spot on the all-time worldwide box office charts.”

“The cost of the grass matches the hefty price tags of the exclusive Yeezy-inspired merch made available to fans at the Easter Sunday Service, where a pair of ‘Church Socks’ was sold for $50,” PEOPLE notes.

Looks like the grass was sold, but if you’re interested, you can check it out here.

“We have received inquiries about a visit to the White House. With several players either pursuing pro opportunities or moving on from UVA, it would be difficult, if not impossible to get everyone back together. We would have to respectfully decline an invitation.”
