Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, has an accomplishment list that just keeps on growing. The Queens-born rapper, movie star, and producer will be honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the year 2020.

50 made the announcement via his Instagram with the caption, “man this is some cool s**t” followed up with “Mom, I think I made it.”

The Walk of Fame Selection committee released a list of 35 individuals, who would be receiving a star on the famous LA strip, amongst them were Mahershala Ali, Spike Lee, Alicia Keys, Dave Chappelle and Terry Crews, just to name a few.

One of the more interesting names to be included with 50, is Wendy Williams, the two have trolled each other back and forth mercilessly for years. 50 and Wendy have been going back and forth dating back to the origin, when Wendy Williams questioned 50’s sexuality.

For the sake of them both being able to enjoy their day being solidified amongst the best to ever contribute to Hollywood, let’s hope the committee keeps them far from each other’s dedication.

While there is no specific criteria one must meet to receive a star on the Walk of Fame, all of the members are very talented contributors to Hollywood who have “touched our hearts through film, television, radio and a variety of musical categories” said Selection Committee Chair and Walk of Famer Vin Di Bona.

Dates for the star ceremonies have not been set yet, but they have some time. Recipients have up to two years from the announcement to schedule their ceremony.

The ceremonies will be announced to the public 10 days prior to the dedication and can be found here.
