The leader of the Hot Girl Summer Megan the Stallion is releasing more heat for her fans.
The “Big Ole Freak” rapper released a trailer for FEVER thee Movie on Sunday (July 14), and she said that it would be coming soon.
Megan appears to be teaming up with Hype Williams on this project. Hype Williams has a long list of former clients with whom he has produced classics, including artists like, 2Pac, Yeezy, Lil Wayne. Oh and he also directed a little film called Belly.
The IG teaser for FEVER thee Movie, which shares a title with her mixtape that dropped in May, appears to be a possible video mixtape. While this isn’t confirmed, the teaser includes footage of Da Baby and Juicy J, who are both featured on the mixtape.
Meg burst onto the scene with her first single “Big Ole Freak,” which topped the charts at number 65. Fever, her debut project, topped Billboard 200 Album charts at number 12, selling an equivalent to 28,000 units in the first week.
With her appearances on the Billboard chart, Meg became one of seven female artists to appear on the Billboard charts — that’s already a record for a single year, and we’re just halfway through 2019.
Megan thee Stallion will look to keep her forward momentum going when she joins Meek Mill and Future for the “Legendary Nights Tour,” starting in late August.
