Young Dro Arrested For Throwing Banana Pudding At Girlfriend, Also Owes 41K In Child Support

Atlanta rapper, Young Dro found himself in jail for a very head-scratching reason. TMZ reports that Dro was arrested back on July 5 after throwing a plate of banana pudding at his girlfriend. The celebrity gossip site states an argument over money got heated, resulting in a food fight between the couple with the “Shoulder Lean” rapper being taken into custody.

TMZ also confirmed that Dro’s girlfriend didn’t want to press charges on the rapper, but cops still arrested the rapper anyway. He is still in jail and not because of the banana pudding but allegedly for owing back child support.

Per TMZ:

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Young Dro was arrested on July 5 for allegedly throwing a plate of banana pudding at his girlfriend during an argument at their Atlanta-area home.

We’re told the two had been arguing over money — but things got heated, and the food started flying … with both sides launching whatever delicious items they could find at each other.

Cops were called to the scene — and despite the fact, his GF made it clear she didn’t want to press charges, they arrested Dro anyway.

He’s now facing 2 counts of misdemeanor battery/family violence.

He’s still in jail too — according to law enforcement sources — because he’s also being held on a child support contempt order. The legal docs say he owes almost $41k in back child support and needs to pay $10k to be released from custody.

Our Young Dro sources say the child support case involves another baby mama — not his current GF who he had the pudding spat with — and the rapper claims he’s all paid up … so it’s a clerical error.

Well, based on the information shared by TMZ, it does make sense that Dro’s girlfriend was pressing him over money. He was probably telling her he is broke. You think she hit her shoulder lean while dodging the plate of banana pudding? See what we did there?
