When Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent‘s The Money Team (TMT) Promotions went defunct in 2012, the former friends fell out and have been beefing ever since.

Now, the war of words has entered a new chapter recently thanks to 50 Cent’s Instagram page, a treasure trove of him promoting his countless businesses and roasting any and all of the Hollywood elite.

The heavyweight champ is often the butt of jokes, and this time, it’s thanks to his appearance on the Fox Business show Making Money with Charles Payne earlier this week. He not only spoke positively of President Donald Trump but called him the best that’s ever sat behind the Resolute desk and praised his business acumen despite being tied to bankruptcy six times.

“When we had Trump before, we didn’t appreciate him. But I think Trump is a great president, one of the — actually he’s the best president. In my eyes, he’s the best president we ever had,” the 48-year-old said. “Great business, great businessman, and that’s what it’s about. Trump has done an amazing job, and a lot of people around America are upset. But no matter who goes in the White House, we’re always upset. I think Trump is the man for the job. He’s the best president in my eyes.”

While he may be undefeated in the ring, 50 Cent took to Instagram with a clip of the interview to say that his opinion should stay there and not enter the political sphere.

“O you know how, when you’re in school and a kid eats the 🖍️ crayons. Now you see what happens when they grow up. 👀spell BEST PRESIDENT champ! LOL @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi @50centaction,” the Instagram caption read.

One of 50’s favorite angles he takes at Mayweather is his (lack thereof) intelligence, and asking him to brush off his spelling skills is a callback to 2014 when the entire internet was pouring ice-cold buckets of water over each other to bring awareness to ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Perched atop a balcony at home, 50 Cent said, “F-ck the bucket of ice,” tossed it off the ledge, and offered to donate $750,000 to the charity of Mayweather’s choice if he could read a full page of a Harry Potter book.

The joke even got harsher when late-night TV mainstay Jimmy Kimmel got involved.

“Got a phone call from my man, Jimmy Kimmel,” 50 Cent said. “Jimmy said that if Floyd accepts the challenge, he’d put it on the actual show. You can read it on the show. We don’t want to put pressure on you; we know you can’t pronounce those words in that Harry Potter book. So we’re going to let you read Cat in the Hat.

Since then, the two have been publicly jabbing at each other. See how social media is reacting to the latest round below.
