Kyrie Irving and his partnership with ANTA continue to push forward even though the crafty guard is no longer on the court this season due to injury.

ANTA unveiled the “Dallas” colorway for Irving’s Kai 2 signature sneaker, which pays homage to his current home team, the Dallas Mavericks.

The Kai 2 “Dallas” features the team’s iconic blue and white colors wrapped around it with a bold splash of “retro yellow” which the company says pays homage “to the golden era of basketball and the electric energy that still pulses through Dallas today,” a press release for the sneaker claims.

Per ANTA:

The sneaker’s gradient blue midsole flows like Maverick-blue blood, symbolizing the strength, unity, and loyalty that defines both Kyrie’s game and the city he now represents. Look closely and you’ll spot a spiral pattern on the insole, a thoughtful tribute to one of Dallas’ most recognizable architectural gems—the Thanksgiving Square—fusing heritage with high-performance.

Kyrie Irving Continues To Build A Memorable Sneaker Legacy

Kyrie Irving is continuing to cement a sneaker legacy with ANTA. The two joined forces after Nike cut ties with the NBA champion despite him having one of the brand’s most popular signature sneakers.

Irving wasn’t a sneaker free agent for too long. He inked a signature line deal with a Chinese-based sneaker brand. Irving used his influence with the company to sign his father to a signature sneaker deal.

The Kai 2 “Dallas” will be available online at ANTA.com and at select retailers including Sneaker Politics, Extra Butter, Nice Kicks, Sneaker Room, Feature, Social Status, Shoe Palace, Hibbett, and DTLR.
