The 2025 award season is underway, and the Golden Globes are kicking off the year.
The year’s stars came out in droves, supporting their shows and movies. Playing host was comedian Nikki Glaser, who’s been on a run since a proper roasting of Tom Brady in 2024, and she certainly didn’t hold back on some of the year’s hottest and most controversial moments.
Most memorable were the jokes that came at the expense of Diddy, who’s been marred by dozens of sexual assault allegations.
“Zendaya, you were incredible in Dune,” she said, adding: “Oh my God, I woke up for all of your scenes. You were so good… and Challengers, girl? Oh my God! That movie was more sexually charged than Diddy’s credit card. I mean, seriously.”
Another tense moment came when Vin Diesel decided to reignite old beef with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Diesel took to the stage to present the award for cinematic and box office achievement to Wicked when he simply said, “Hey Dwayne” with a wave and smile, and the camera panned to The Rock, who sat there awkwardly with a grin on his face.
But weird moments aside, many celebrities in attendance stunted on the red carpet with some classic looks while others successfully (and successfully) thought out of the box.
See some of the best looks and reactions from the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet below.
1. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

Standing 6-foot-5 at 260 pounds, The Rock doesn’t have to do much to stand out, but for his red carpet look, he stepped out of the box. He wore a lilac suit jacket and a matching half-buttoned-up shirt with some sheen for an added pop. The purple theme stops there as he goes with black pants, shoes, and lightly tinted sunglasses.
2. Jeremy Strong

Any self-respecting fan of Succession remembers Kendall Roy rapping at a party celebrating his father’s 50th anniversary at Waystar. The outfit he wore at the Golden Globes encapsulates that moment perfectly. Strong donned a velvet sea foam green suit with a matching tonal bucket hat and hazy sunglasses. He finished the look with a simple pair of lace-up dress shoes and a cream-colored turtle neck.
3. Babyface

Legendary singer and producer Babyface’s chill, relaxed persona spilled onto the red carpet. He wore a full Balmain suit detailed with crystals along the seams of the pants and the jacket’s lapel to spell out Je T’aime, which means “I Love You” in French. He matched it with a pair of heeled Louboutin boots and a signature black tee beneath to keep things calm.
4. Tyler James Williams

Between textures, patterns, and cuts, Tyler James Williams never keeps it boring. So for this year’s Golden Globes, the Abbott Elementary star landed on a grey pinstripe strong-shouldered Dolce & Gabbana suit. To play with proportions, the jacket is cropped, and the pants drape over his patent leather shoes. He went shirtless with only a diamond-encrusted chain around his neck.
5. Colman Domingo

Colman Domingo never misses on the red carpet. The Sing Sing actor rocked a blacked-out custom Valentino look with a polka-dot button-up underneath. He swapped a traditional tie for a silk-knotted one and completed the look with a simple pair of leather loafers and Boucheron jewels.
6. Jamie Foxx

Ever since recovering from his 2023 stroke, Jamie Foxx hasn’t been shy about hopping back into the spotlight. So, while campaigning for his Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was… special on the red carpet, he stood out with a black blazer adorned with black crystals and a statement bolo tie. Paired with the tailored suit was a pair of Dolce & Gabbana shoes equipped with black crystals to tie the fit together.
