Kim Kardashian‘s billionaire status just got bolstered.

Her shapewear and loungewear brand SKIMS is doubling back to the sports market with the introduction of the NikeSKIMS, a collaborative launch with the Beaverton, Oregon-based company to enter the fitness arena.

The best of both worlds will come together thanks to Nike‘s cutting-edge technology, which keeps world-class athletes comfortable and performing their best, matched with SKIMS’ laidback style and inclusiveness.

Nike explains the move in the press release, calling the SKIMS venture something similar to its other sports-related subsets, like Jordan Brand, Nike SB, and Converse. So, Nike is looking forward to disrupting the industry again and bringing in another set of clientele.

Kim’s cofounder and SKIMS CEO, Jens Grede, knows the type of power Nike has in the athletic apparel market. With SKIMS’ help, he’s ready to keep women as confident as ever with stylish offerings—which customers already love—that also perform well.

“Over the past five years, SKIMS has redefined the intimates and casual apparel landscape, championing inclusivity and confidence,” says Grede. “Now, by partnering with Nike, the undisputed leader in athletic performance and innovation, we’re poised to create a new standard in the activewear market. This partnership will empower individuals to move with confidence and express themselves authentically, merging SKIMS’ focus on body confidence and self-expression with Nike’s relentless pursuit of athletic excellence.”

The collection will consist of training apparel, footwear, and accessories, which Kardashian says will champion women of all shapes and sizes in the coming months.

“Nike and SKIMS share a deep commitment to innovation, inclusivity and pushing boundaries, driven by an unwavering belief in the power of women,” says Kardashian, the Chief Creative Officer. “This partnership is the culmination of that shared vision, delivering product that is meticulously designed to sculpt and perform for every body. Every single detail has been obsessed over and carefully considered. We’re incredibly excited to unveil our first collection this spring.”

SKIMS first entered the sportswear market in 2023 when it became the official underwear partner of the NBA, WNBA, and USA Basketball. That deal included on-court logos and a campaign starring Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, while NBA Commissioner Adam Silver dubbed the brand one of the ” most culturally influential brands.”
