Fresh off winning an NBA championship and becoming a NBA finals MVP, Kevin Durant finally has time to reflect on his journey to the top. Durant altered both his career and legacy when left the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors—the team that had previously knocked him out of the playoffs and was a perennial power in the league.
Still KD: Through The Noise follows Durant through his season and playoff run in Oakland, highlighting his quest for a championship. The film, directed by Brandon Loper, showcases the hardships Durant faced to attain that goal, including the times he battled through injuries to step up when it mattered. The film also features cameo interviews with Kevin’s mother, Wanda, his former coach Scott Brooks, his trainer and past NBA MVP Steve Nash, teammate Patrick McCall and others.
