As the influential west-coast retailer celebrates its 15 year anniversary and the legendary kicks approach their 20th, the two have decided to join forces to partner on a dope update on the Air Max shoe that honors the aesthetic of both brands.
Honoring what streetwear has always done succesfully— bridge the gap between the worlds of high and low, this collaboration pays homage to UNDFTD’s luxe Italian roots, without the hefty price tag.
“Celebrating our 15th anniversary on the 20th anniversary of the Air Max 97 felt like a natural opportunity. Why not use a model that is not only respected by our organization but also spoke of the future in its time?” says UNDFTD co-founder Eddie Cruz. “The design embodies Undefeated. The Air Max 97 OG x UNDFTD is available for purchase in both black and white color ways exclusively at UNDFTD locations now. A global release will follow in exclusively in the black colorway on September 21.
