With its boxy shape and thick sole, “dad sneakers” are back, thanks to high-end labels and OG sportswear brands that’ve added them to their lineups. Though practical and great for your core, the clunky kicks are pretty hard to stomach. New iterations in fancy materials have tried to up the cool factor, but, we’ve still been on the fence with this trend…until now.

Reebok’s DMX Fusion Experiment Pyer Moss sneaker hits stores this Friday. The buzzy kicks were designed by Haitian talent Kerby Jean-Raymond, who  partnered with the brand on a unisex footwear and clothing drop unveiled at his Pyer Moss FW18 runway show in NYC in February.

The new silhouette is a reinterpretation of one of Reebok Classic’s most iconic running shoes, the DMX Run 10. Inspired by air drop containers and the multiple straps used to tie them down, wearers can alter the laces according to their personal style. The all-white model trades in a thicker sole for a more streamlined silhouette.

Visit Reebok.com from now until 11:59pm ET on Thursday, March 22, to sign up to purchase a pair in advance of the March 23rd release date. Lucky customers will be chosen at random. The kicks will be available at Reebok.com, Hervia, Corso Como, Cabinet Noir, SSENSE, FRWD Man, Smets, and Sugar for $180.
