Kanye West once rapped “I Am A God” on his album Yeezus, now it would seem in all of his MAGA madness he has found God and wants to help spread the word on his own terms with his own church.

Kanye West has been so inspired by his Sunday Service shows that he wants to open his own place of worship. People exclusively reports from a source privy to the situation the rapper is mulling the idea with the basis it will be a place where can perform “new music” and promote his newfound spirituality.

Per People:

“He talked about starting his own church and what exactly that would be. It wouldn’t be the traditional, 3-hymns-and-a-sermon thing. Instead, it would be a way to point people to Jesus through the arts and through a community of people who love and care for each other. He also wants his kids to be raised in faith, and the best way for him to that is to live out his faith.”

Kanye’s missionary work doesn’t stop there either, he is also looking to help those in need of support.

“Say what you want about Kanye, but he really does want to help people who need support. He understands brokenness and the need for healing, probably more than most people. He believes in the healing powers of music, but also believes that God can step in and heal people’s brokenness and their issues,” the source added.

It may sound good, but we wonder if attendees will have to wear religiously inspired and ridiculously expensive merch that he was pushing during his Coachella Sunday Service set that featured Chance The Rapper, Teyana Taylor, Ty Dolla $ign and a signature prayer from DMX.

But according to the insider Kanye has definitely seen the light saying, “He is extremely passionate about his faith and wants to share it more regularly with people. He spends a lot of time studying and praying, and wants to share his journey.”

Well, whatever keeps him off of Twitter and out of the White House parlaying with Donald Trump I guess we are all for it.
