Most fashion heads solidified their summer wardrobe months ago, and while they currently reap those benefits, it’s time to get a jumpstart on your fall and winter threads.
Just in time, BAPE has arrived with its Fall/Winter 2025 collection, which is more than just meticulously designed pieces, as they’re tied to a “Connect with People” messaging.
The Japanese-born streetwise brand conveys that by linking up with creatives to show off the latest goods and boasting connections through a “shared love for music, sports, and art.”
“This season, we unite DJs, rappers, and skateboarders, voices from different worlds bound by one culture. In an era of digital overload, we spotlight what matters: connection,” reads an Instagram caption.
It starts with a trio of Tree Edge Camo colorways, making a return with matching sets as a call back to 1990s Hip-Hop culture.
For outerwear, there’s a bubble jacket with the lightning bolt star motif on each side of the chest, workwear-inspired jackets with a weathered Carhartt look, and a camo’d out snorkel jacket detailed with a fur hood. The star bolt logo reappears on a mid-wash denim jacket with matching pants.
The camo BAPE has become synonymous with even getting a remix, thanks to a swirled pastel seen on a bomber jacket and a more demure, denim-tinted camo on a rigid, deep blue jacket.
From there, they switch to the Wild Leopard pattern, which is featured on a retro-inspired paneled sports jacket, and it gets louder on a zip-up jacket and a textured, elongated cardigan.
Purists will also be happy to see zip-up hoodies complete with skeletal prints, varsity jackets littered with patches, soccer jerseys, low-key embroidered jackets, and a sequined camo zip-up.
More everyday wearable items are also showcased, such as minimally branded track jackets and bubble coats. However, BAPE also stands out by introducing a new pattern that heavily leans on its love for denim.
“The spotlight of Fall’s drop shines on Cloud Camo—a new pattern fusing indigo-dyed denim and Sashiko stitching, inspired by the timeless Karakusa motif,” reads the Instagram caption. “The standout souvenir jacket features metallic embroidery and traditional Japanese fire elements, adding a hip-hop edge to its artisanal roots.”
