They say the Dallas Cowboys are “America’s team.” Still, if you asked social media, that title currently belongs to the Philadelphia Eagles, after they reportedly told Donald Trump and his White House we ain’t coming for a visit.
According to a Sunday report from the U.S. Sun, via Newsweek, the Philadelphia Eagles responded with a “massive no” to a visit to Trump’s White House to celebrate their Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. Donald Trump became the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl, and now it looks like he will be the first president to be snubbed by the same team.
The Eagles also declined an invitation for a customary visit in 2018 during Donald Trump’s first term in office.
The alleged snub contrasts starkly with Eagles captain Lane Johnson’s statement that it would be an honor for the team to visit the White House.
The team reportedly held a vote on the matter, with the majority declaring they didn’t want to go.
MAGA Meltdown
While the organization has not confirmed it yet, still MAGA land is furious and is blasting the team for not showing Orange Mussolini love.
“SAME. GO F YOURSELVES EAGLES. My husband is a fan so I got onboard but F this BS,” wrote conservative journalist Megyn Kelly on X, formerly Twitter.
Another salty MAGA cult member wrote, “The Philadelphia Eagles declined an honored visit to the White House. Everyone knows the Eagles fan are trash, and now so are the players! Congratulations! You suck!”
On the other hand, the Eagles are receiving very loud praise for not going to the White House, and they might have just increased their fan base.
“And on this day, February 23rd, 2025, I officially became a Philadelphia Eagles fan,” one X user wrote in response to the team’s decision.
Another user wrote, “The Philadelphia Eagles just keep winning on my book. I’m glad they gave that Nazi a HARD NO.”
You know there is an epic Trump meltdown on Truth Social incoming, until then, we will be sipping on these MAGA tears.
